One Airport, Two Exits

EuroAirport stands on French soil and is operated jointly by France and Switzerland. Arriving passengers choose between a Swiss exit and a French exit, and each leads to a different road network. A customs road links the Swiss sector directly to Basel. We confirm the exit with you before the flight lands, and your driver waits on the correct side.

Into Basel and Beyond

The centre of Basel is about 15 minutes from the terminal, Messe Basel about 20 minutes. From EuroAirport we also drive to Zurich in about 1 hour 15 minutes, to Bern and Lucerne in under an hour and a half, and across the border to Mulhouse, Colmar and Freiburg im Breisgau.

Fair Weeks and Business Travel

EuroAirport is the arrival point for Art Basel in June, the Swiss Indoors in autumn and for visitors to Roche, Novartis and the other companies on the Rhine. During fair weeks we recommend booking early. Your driver follows the flight, so a delay does not cost you your car.
